Below you can find information about events organised by the Jisc UK ORCID Support team, as well as other relevant events for those implementing or considering ORCID IDs.
Please note that our community events are open to Jisc UK ORCID consortium members and non-consortium members, but if there is high demand for places preference will be given to existing consortium members. Payment may be required for non-members. Prospective members are encouraged to email help@jisc.ac.uk to enquire about attendance.

ORCID advocacy monthly clinics
A series of events aimed at enhancing advocacy practices and knowledge sharing throughout the year. These sessions serve as an invaluable platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange and the advancement of ORCID implementation strategies in various organisations. They are scheduled to take place on the last Tuesday of every month.

Birds of a Feather Meetings
A series of meetings around vendor systems like repositories and CRIS that our members use to connect to the ORCID API.

In-Person all-member UK ORCID consortium event, 5th June
Location:
Crowne Plaza Birmingham City Centre, Central Square, Holliday Street, Birmingham B1 1HH
The 2024 members’ event included updates from ORCID, UKRI, and the Jisc support service. Members had the chance to share and compare experiences with peers, as well as discuss approaches and strategies to enhance uptake and further integration of ORCID.
