UK ORCID Consortium Eligibility

Are you a research-related organisation, UK university or research institute, and not for profit?

1. If yes, go to Are you a member of Jisc?
2. If no, you can consider direct membership of ORCID which is open to a wider range of organisations, see ORCID membership page (end of flow chart).

Are you a member of Jisc?

1. If yes, consortium membership is available via the LSM.  Your pricing will be based on your income (which determines your ORCID tier and price) and your allocated Jisc band (which determines your support fee). (end of flow chart)

Do you want to become an affiliate member of Jisc?

1. If yes, you can consider the Jisc affiliate membership scheme.  This process may take some time, but also provides access to other Jisc products and services at a cost. Please get in touch via [email protected] (end of flow chart).
2. If no, you can subscribe to just the UK ORCID consortium. Your pricing will be based on your income.  The price is made up of two components – the ORCID fee and the support fee. Please get in touch via [email protected] (end of flow chart).
